Cleaning:

as a sizeable investment. Our 14 step rug cleaning
process was created specifically to insure you, the customer, your
investment and or family heirloom is properly taken care of and your
rugs receive the best attention possible.
- Thoroughly inspect
your rug again to see if there are any problems we might have
overlooked..
- Neutralize
the colors. This prevents all colors from bleeding and locks in the
dyes.
- Pre-treat
the fringes with a cleaning solution which remains on the fringe for 5
minutes.
- Scrub
the fringes to return them to their original color. ie white,
beige, tea dye, off white
- Pre-treat the
rug with spotters and spot clean.
- Rinse
the rug to remove all dirt in the rug and then soaked in cold water to
revitalize the natural sheen of the fibers.
- Clean
the back of the rug.
- Clean
the front of the rug.
- Deordorize
the rug front and
back in a
contamination bath, if needed.
- Rinse
the back and the front to get rid of all soap so there is no residue,
which could cause your rug to get dirty faster.
- Send
the rug through a wringer to rinse out any remaining soap and water and
then add our special conditioner which gives it a beautiful sheen and
luster.
- Lay
it outside to dry flat for aproximately 4 hours where the sun
revitalizes the bight rich colors without harming the natural
dyes. This is the way rugs are treated when they are made in
IRAN, PERSIA, INDIA and TURKEY.
- Flip
the rug over and set pile groom to perfection.
- Bring
it into the drying room and hang it to dry for 24 hours before we
remove it from the drying room and re-inspect it to assure quality and
re-spot it if needed.

The
procedures are determined by natural fibers, urine, mold, mildew,
etc.
Water
damaged rugs are assessed and price quoted per rug.
